Most EV owners start out using the factory charge cord that came with the car. It works, but it's slow - we're talking overnight at best, and if you're not plugging in the moment you get home, you might not have a full charge by morning. That's not a routine anyone wants to deal with long-term.

A Level 2, 240V setup changes that completely. Instead of trickling in a few miles per hour, you're pulling real amps - 32 amps at 238 volts, to be exact - and the car's display says it all. A full top-up in a couple of hours instead of burning a whole night waiting.

The hardware side of this install is worth paying attention to. A dedicated outlet box with proper conduit run to it - no shortcuts, no improvised setups. That kind of clean, code-compliant work matters because you're running a high-amperage circuit that needs to hold up every single day. We also run load calculations before any EV charger install to make sure your panel can handle the added demand without issues down the road.

A lot of homeowners don't realize that just buying a Level 2 charger isn't the whole story. You need the right wiring, the right breaker, and someone who actually knows how to size the circuit correctly. That's where we come in - we handle the electrical side so the charger works the way it's supposed to, safely and reliably.
